Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with hotel staff and clients on-site to meet needs and verify equipment functionality.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, maintaining accurate records in Navigator, and contributing to invoices and up-selling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with guests and clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and software issues.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately and use equipment sheets for scheduling and strikes.
• Assist with invoicing and up-sell opportunities with clients.
