Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Hospital Liaison in New York City to direct post-acute intake and drive census growth across major healthcare systems. This dual clinical sales and admissions leadership role will leverage hospital relationships to identify prospective SNF and LTC patients and guide transitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in SNF/LTC as liaison/admissions.
• Active hospital relationships in Brooklyn and Queens.
• Bachelor’s degree; RN, LPN, MSW, LCSW, PT, or OT is a strong plus.
• Understanding of Medicare Part A, Medicaid, and pre-authorizations.
• Strong consultative sales, clinical evaluation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Territory & Network Expansion: Maintain relationships with hospital staff in Brooklyn and Queens.
• Clinical Pre-Screening: Pre-admission evaluations and chart reviews for admission suitability.
• Census & Referral Generation: Convert clinical leads into admissions to meet targets.
• Patient & Family Guidance: Explain sub-acute programs to patients and families.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with admissions teams, nursing leadership, and therapy.
• Market Intelligence: Track discharge trends and present to hospital case management.
