Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of hospice sales experience with a proven growth record.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs for communications, presentations, tracking, and spreadsheets.
• CRM solution experience preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Self-directed with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develops overall territory growth of assigned area, including facilities, physicians, care-at-home providers, and community agencies.
• Fosters relationships with physicians, third-party payors, and community agencies.
• Creates and evaluates quarterly and annual territory plans to achieve growth goals and implement strategies.
• Manages referrals by making effective sales calls and presentations to targeted sources.
• Acts as liaison between referral partners and agency to communicate information about programs and services.
• Meets with patients and families to discuss home care needs and manage expectations.
• Builds collaboration with Intake and care resources staff to ensure effective communication with referral sources.
• Maintains updated customer and competitor profiles and logs daily activity for follow-up.
• Represents agency with physicians, nurses, social workers, discharge planners, and community agencies; supports delivery of services.
• Participates in marketing efforts to educate the healthcare community about hospice programs (physician calls, events, CEU programs).
• Prepares monthly referral source tracking reports and informs leadership of market changes.
