Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant (HCC) to grow hospice admissions by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and identifying eligible patients. You will work within a defined Book of Business, driving market share while upholding Compassus values and delivering compassionate, quality care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business (preferred) and 5+ years of sales success, with a proven ability to meet goals, secure referrals, and work with healthcare partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five or more years of successful sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and growing accounts.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills to drive growth in long-standing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with the operations team to ensure all clinically-eligible patients are rapidly admitted.
• Take full ownership of meeting or exceeding weekly performance goals and grow productivity.
• Cultivate and manage strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide support and empathy to patients and families, maintaining resilience in emotional situations.
• Be willing to work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure timely patient care.
• Gather feedback from referral sources and relay insights to improve service and operations.
• Adapt to changing business priorities and team structures as needed to support the team.
