Job summary

Compassus seeks a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by building relationships with healthcare providers and families, promoting Compassus values, and ensuring high-quality hospice care. You will own a defined book of business and drive growth through new accounts and expanding existing ones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales goals and growing new accounts.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred, but top-performing sales professionals who understand hospice care are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with the operations team to ensure all clinically-eligible patients are rapidly admitted.
• Take full ownership of meeting or exceeding weekly performance goals and grow productivity levels.
• Cultivate and manage strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families and stay resilient in emotional situations.
• Be ready to work outside standard business hours to ensure timely support for patients.
