Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant (HCC) to grow admissions and market share by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and patients. You will own the growth of a defined book of business, identify eligible patients, and help ensure timely, appropriate admissions with compassion and professionalism.

The role emphasizes relationship-driven sales, medical partner engagement, and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations while maintaining a patient-first focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Healthcare/hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and growth targets.
• Build trust-based relationships with referral sources.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families.
• Be available outside standard hours to support patients in need.
• Gather feedback from referral sources and relay insights.
• Adapt to changing priorities and team structures.
• Provide clinical training to referral partners.
