Job summary

Compassus seeks a Hospice Care Consultant to drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones, securing physician referrals, and ensuring rapid admission of eligible patients. You will build trusted relationships with referral sources using a needs-based consultative approach, while upholding Compassus values and delivering compassionate care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Business (preferred) and 5+ years in sales, ideally with healthcare exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to admit eligible patients quickly.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and drive productivity.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with referral sources using a consultative approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during sensitive times and respond to referrals promptly.
• Be flexible with hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.
• Educate referral partners about hospice care and relay insights to operations for improvement.
