Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by building strong relationships with physicians, staff, and administrators and by expanding the company’s book of business. You will drive referrals and ensure timely, appropriate patient admissions across a broad network.

The role requires compassion, resilience, and the ability to navigate emotionally sensitive conversations with healthcare partners. A 5+ year sales background in healthcare is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills that drive growth in long-standing accounts.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred, but top performers welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and stay on pace with tenure-based expectations.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners to improve understanding of hospice care.
