Job summary

Compassus is hiring a Hospice Care Consultant (HCC) to grow its market share by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones. You will secure referrals from physicians and staff, ensuring rapid and appropriate admissions.

The role requires ownership of weekly goals, strong relationships with referral sources, and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with patients and families. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of sales experience in healthcare, a Bachelor's in Business, and a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• Five or more years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with the operations team to ensure all clinically-eligible patients are rapidly admitted.
• Take full ownership of meeting or exceeding weekly performance goals and grow productivity to pace with tenure-based expectations.
• Cultivate and manage strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families, supporting them through sensitive times.
• Be ready to work outside standard business hours to ensure timely support for patients.
• Seek feedback from referral sources on service levels and relay insights to the operations team to drive improvements.
