Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by building relationships with healthcare providers and identifying eligible patients.

The ideal candidate is a sales professional with compassion and resilience, capable of navigating emotional conversations while promoting high-quality hospice care. The role requires ownership, organization, and willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills that drive growth.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to ensure rapid admissions.
• Own weekly performance goals and grow productivity to meet tenure-based expectations.
• Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy to patients and families, maintaining resilience in emotional situations.
• Prioritize the patient and be available outside standard hours to ensure timely support and service.
