Job summary

Compassus seeks a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and patients. You will identify eligible patients, open new accounts, and expand existing ones while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires a proven sales track record, excellent CRM skills, and comfort navigating sensitive conversations with families and physicians. Field-based with flexibility for after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and grow productivity.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy to patients and families.
• Be flexible with hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.
• Solicit feedback and relay insights to operations for improvement.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support the team.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners.
