Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and managing a defined book of business. The role focuses on opening new accounts, expanding existing ones, and exceeding weekly growth targets with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare preferred, but top-performing sales professionals who understand hospice care are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant growth within the assigned book by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and ensure rapid patient admission.
• Own weekly performance goals and keep productivity on pace with company expectations.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative, needs-based approach.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families while navigating emotional conversations.
