Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow hospice admissions by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and expanding the book of business. You will identify eligible patients, coordinate rapid admissions, and drive market share growth while maintaining compassion and professionalism in sensitive situations.

Qualifications

• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals with ability to grow new accounts.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills driving growth in long-standing accounts.

Responsabilités

• Open new accounts and grow existing ones within the assigned book of business.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff and administrators and coordinate with operations to admit eligible patients promptly.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and drive productivity with tenure-based expectations.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families while managing emotionally challenging situations.
• Be available outside standard hours as needed to ensure timely support for patients.
• Solicit feedback from referral sources and relay insights to operations to improve service.
• Be adaptable and ready to adjust to changing priorities and team needs.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners about hospice care.
