Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow market share by cultivating relationships with healthcare providers and driving admissions for eligible patients. You will secure referrals, partner with operations to expedite patient admissions, and meet weekly growth targets while delivering compassionate, patient-focused service.

The role emphasizes resilience, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and growing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with the operations team to ensure all clinically-eligible patients are rapidly admitted.
• Take full ownership of meeting or exceeding weekly performance goals and grow productivity with tenure-based expectations.
• Cultivate and manage strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners to improve understanding of hospice care.
