Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow our market share by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and expanding the patient admissions pipeline. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, resilience, and professional conduct in highly sensitive conversations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of sales experience, healthcare industry familiarity, and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills that drive growth in long-standing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and expand existing ones to grow market share.
• Secures referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partners with operations to ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and drive productivity.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy to patients and families during emotional times.
• Be willing to work outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends, for timely patient support.
• Solicit feedback from referral sources and relay insights to operations to improve service levels.
• Adapt to changing business priorities, team structure, and market dynamics as needed.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners about hospice care.
