Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant in the United States to grow market share by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and expanding the patient admission base. You will identify eligible patients, secure referrals, and collaborate with operations to admit patients quickly and appropriately.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Business (preferred) and 5+ years in sales, with healthcare experience highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and drive productivity.
• Build trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during sensitive times.
• Be prepared to work evenings and weekends to ensure timely patient support.
• Solicit feedback from referral sources and relay insights to operations for service improvements.
• Adapt to changes in priorities, team structure, and market dynamics.
