Job summary

Compassus in the United States is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow our market share by expanding existing accounts and opening new ones. You will cultivate relationships with physicians and healthcare partners, ensuring timely admissions while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of sales experience, a BA in Business, and strong relationship-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales goals and growing new accounts.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills to drive growth in long-standing accounts.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to ensure patients are admitted rapidly.
• Take full ownership of meeting or exceeding weekly performance goals and grow productivity with tenure.
• Cultivate and manage strong, trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families during highly emotional times.
• Be available to work outside standard hours to ensure timely support for patients in need.
• Seek feedback from referral sources on service levels and relay insights to the operations team.
