Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by building relationships with healthcare providers and expanding the book of business. You will drive referrals, coordinate rapid patient admission, and meet growth goals with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
• Five+ years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals with new and existing accounts.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills driving growth in long-standing accounts.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and expand existing ones to grow market share.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and coordinate with operations for rapid admissions.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and maintain productivity with tenure-based expectations.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy to patients and families during sensitive times.
• Be flexible to work evenings and weekends to support timely patient care.
• Solicit feedback from referral sources and relay insights to operations for improvements.
• Adapt to changes in priorities, team structure, or market dynamics as needed.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners to improve hospice understanding.
