Job summary

Bon Secours Home Care and Hospice by Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions and market share by partnering with physicians and healthcare teams. You will open new accounts and expand existing ones while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care during sensitive times.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in healthcare sales, strong CRM skills, and a proven track record of meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five or more years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills driving growth in long-standing accounts.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred, but top performers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones within a defined book of business.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to ensure rapid admissions.
• Own weekly performance goals and grow productivity in line with tenure-based expectations.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Show compassion and empathy to patients and families, maintaining resilience in emotional care contexts.
• Prioritize patients, ready to work outside standard hours to ensure timely support.
• Seek feedback from referral sources and relay insights to operations for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and market dynamics.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners about hospice care.
