Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by building strong relationships with physicians and healthcare partners across a defined book of business. You will identify eligible patients, secure referrals, and ensure rapid, appropriate admission while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sales, a Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferred), and proven ability to exceed goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five or more years of successful sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals with new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and expand existing ones to grow market share.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff and administrators.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and grow productivity.
• Build trust-based relationships with referral sources using consultative sales.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy to patients and families.
• Willing to work outside regular hours to support patients.
• Seek feedback from referral sources and drive service improvements.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners.
