Job summary

Compassus Hospice seeks a Hospice Care Consultant to grow market share by opening new accounts and expanding relationships with physicians, staff and administrators. The role emphasizes compassionate, consultative sales, rapid patient referrals, and collaboration with operations to ensure swift, appropriate admissions.

You will manage a defined book of business, meet weekly goals, and represent Compassus with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales goals, with the ability to find and grow new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to ensure rapid admissions.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and grow productivity ahead of company expectations.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during emotional times.
• Be flexible to work outside standard hours to ensure timely support and service.
