Job summary

Bon Secours Home Care and Hospice by Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions by partnering with physicians and healthcare providers, managing a defined book of business, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role requires owning market growth, opening new accounts, mentoring referral sources, and educating teams on hospice services while upholding Compassus values of compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles.
• Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales goals, with the ability to find and grow new accounts.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills that drive continued growth in long-standing accounts.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred, but top-performing sales professionals who understand and accept the challenges of hospice care are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians and staff and coordinate with the operations team for rapid admission.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and maintain productivity.
• Build trusted relationships with referral sources using a consultative approach.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners about hospice care.
