Job summary

Compassus seeks a Hospice Care Consultant to grow admissions and market share by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources. You will identify eligible patients, promote Compassus services, and partner with operations to ensure timely admissions.

The role requires resilience, compassionate patient care, and the ability to navigate emotionally charged conversations while meeting growth targets and maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience; proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred, but top-performing sales professionals may apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to ensure rapid admissions.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and grow productivity in line with company expectations.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during emotional times and adapt to changing needs.
