Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant to grow market share by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and identifying eligible patients for admission. This role combines strategic sales with compassionate patient support.

The HCC must excel in navigating emotional conversations, maintain resilience under pressure, and drive admissions while delivering outstanding service to patients and families. Evening and weekend availability is expected to ensure timely care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• Five (5)+ years of successful sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive significant growth within the assigned book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and partner with operations to ensure rapid admission of eligible patients.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and grow productivity with tenure-based expectations.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using a consultative sales approach.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during emotional times.
