Job summary

Norm Reeves Dealerships in Vista, CA is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Honda dealership's new and used vehicle sales operations. This leadership role focuses on driving volume, maximizing profitability, and building a high-performance sales team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will work closely with Finance to structure deals, coach staff, analyze KPI data, manage inventory, and ensure an exceptional CSI across all car operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years automotive sales management experience.
• Proven experience in high-volume automotive sales.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and planning skills.
• Strong F&I knowledge and deal-structuring ability.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, desking tools and digital platforms.
• Honda/Import brand experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

Location: Vista, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Salary Range: $140,000 - 185,000

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead new and used vehicle sales operations at our high-performing Honda dealership in Vista, CA.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving new and used car volume, maximizing profitability, and developing a strong, performance-driven sales team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage all new vehicle sales operations
• Drive volume, gross profit, and market share growth
• Work closely with Sales Managers and Finance to optimize deal structure and closing performance
• Train, coach, and hold the sales team accountable to process and performance standards
• Manage new and used vehicle inventory, pricing, and merchandising.
• Ensure strong customer experience and CSI performance across all new car operations
• Review sales reports, track KPIs, and implement strategies to improve performance.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years automotive sales management experience required
• Proven experience in high-volume automotive sales
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational planning skills
• Strong F&I knowledge with proven ability to structure deals and maximize backend gross
• Proficiency with CRM systems, desking tools, digital retail platforms, and inventory management software (ex. Conquest)
• Honda/Import brand experience preferred
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Proven ability to close deals and drive results
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
