Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct, and program existing security and site automation solutions for homes and small businesses.

You will visit customers to install and service fire and CO detectors, networking, hosted video, and access control systems, while providing exceptional customer service and working closely with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Service experience required.
• Show technical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Strong verbal communication and customer focus.
• Ability to thrive in uncertain environments.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install and service fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video, and access control.
• Follow procedures for wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals with central monitoring to establish service.
• Provide customer service by helping customers understand protection in their home.
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with customers and coworkers.
• Visit customers at their homes or businesses to provide solutions.
