Job summary

Lincare in South Bend, Indiana seeks a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to set up home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers and oxygen concentrators, and to educate patients on proper use.

You will inspect and adjust equipment, review prescriptions, maintain patient records, stay current on respiratory therapy concepts, and be prepared for after-hours on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold CRT or RRT licensure.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of pulmonary rehab concepts and homecare equipment.
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and related devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate on CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators and related devices.
• Inspect and adjust equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to plan treatment.
• Maintain complete patient records and comply with standards.
• Stay current on respiratory therapy techniques and concepts.
• Participate in after-hours on-call shifts as needed.
