Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our growing team in the United States. The role focuses on setting up home medical equipment, including CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators, and educating patients on proper usage.

Responsibilities include inspecting and adjusting equipment, reviewing prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and staying current with respiratory homecare techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP therapy and home medical equipment preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on equipment usage and safety.
• Strong attention to detail in equipment setup and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP machines, ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen concentrators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust home medical equipment to ensure safety and proper function.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Keep up-to-date with respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed. Frequency is determined by center size and staffing.
