Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our growing team in Indiana. You will set up home medical equipment including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and monitors, and educate patients on proper use according to physician orders.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• In-depth knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and provide education on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency determined by center size.
