Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our growing team to set up home medical equipment including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units, and other devices, and to educate patients on proper usage.

You will travel to patients, inspect and adjust equipment, review prescriptions, and maintain comprehensive patient records while staying current on respiratory therapy concepts. After-hours on-call may be required based on center needs.

Qualifications

• CRTs and RRTs qualified for this state.
• State license/registration required.
• Reliable personal vehicle for patient visits.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine suitable treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed.
