Amerita in Winston-Salem is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion Nurse to provide 1:1 care to patients in their homes. The role focuses on delivering high-quality infusion therapies outside the hospital setting, with a supportive team and competitive benefits.

You will assess patients, manage vascular access, educate families, and coordinate with pharmacy and providers. A valid RN license, CPR, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice
• Minimum of one year of RN experience
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Flexible schedule with various shift models
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; driving record OK
• 100% travel to patients’ homes as part of this role

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and implement the Plan of Care
• Adhere to infusion, pharmacy, and regulatory policies
• Follow INS, IgNS, CDC guidelines and ANA ethics
• Collaborate with pharmacy, sales, providers to monitor therapies
• Complete patient care documentation in home/ AIS
• Manage peripheral vascular access and labs as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers
• Evaluate progress and suggest changes to physicians
• Coordinate nursing with home health and community agencies
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Submit monthly mileage and expense reports
• Complete competencies and mandatory trainings on time
• No supervisory responsibilities
