Job summary

Amerita is seeking a skilled registered nurse to join our home infusion team, delivering 1:1 care in patients' homes. You will assess patients, implement plans of care, and collaborate with pharmacy and providers.

The role requires at least one year RN experience, infusion/home health experience preferred, CPR, valid state license, and a flexible schedule. Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm with on-call rotation; travel to patient homes daily.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Infusion and home health care experience preferred.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Assess all patients assigned and establish the Plan of Care.
Adhere to policies for infusion and home health care; state laws and regulations.
Collaborate with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering provider and patient to monitor therapies.
Complete patient care documentation in home or AIS.
Manage vascular access devices and draw labs via venipuncture.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapies and safety.
Evaluate progress and adjust the Plan of Care with physicians.
Coordinate nursing care with home health and community agencies.
Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
Submit expense reports and track mileage monthly.
Complete annual competencies and mandatory training.
