Job summary

Amerita seeks a dedicated Home Infusion RN to provide 1:1 care for infusion patients in patients' homes in the Providence area. You will assess, plan, and execute comprehensive care while collaborating with pharmacy staff and providers.

A valid RN license and IV therapy experience are essential, with travel required. The role offers Monday–Friday schedules with on-call rotation, competitive benefits for full- and part-time staff, and opportunities to advance in a supportive, patient-focused

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; infusion/home health preferred.
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexible schedule to cover multiple shifts.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish the Plan of Care.
• Adhere to policies addressing infusion nursing, pharmacy services, and state laws.
• Follow INS/IgNS standards and ANA code of ethics.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering provider, and patient.
• Document patient care in the place of service (home or AIS).
• Manage vascular access devices and draw labs peripherally.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Evaluate progress and suggest changes to the Plan of Care.
• Coordinate nursing care with home health and community agencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Complete expense reports and mileage logs.
• Complete annual competencies and training on time.
