Job summary

Amerita is seeking a dedicated home infusion nurse to deliver 1:1 care in patients’ homes. The role emphasizes IV therapy, infusion, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality clinical services outside the hospital.

The position requires an active RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and current CPR certification. A part-time schedule with on-call rotation and routine travel to patient homes is expected. Benefits and supportive work environment provided.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Infusion/home health care experience preferred.
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish/implement the Plan of Care.
• Adhere to infusion and home health policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, providers, and patients to monitor therapies.
• Complete patient care documentation in patient records.
• Manage vascular access devices and perform peripheral venipuncture.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Evaluate progress and recommend changes to physicians.
• Coordinate nursing care with home health and other agencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
