Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a part-time Sales Specialist in Texas to greet customers, assess needs, and guide product choices. You will become a product expert, explain features, financing options, and promotions, and help close sales across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more.

You will move throughout the store, answer questions, discuss project needs, and coordinate with vendors and installers when required. Prior experience in retail sales is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1 year customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience or 3 years external sales experience with limited education.
• 1 year sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; stand/sit for long periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted; assist with heavier lifts as needed.
• May require sales-related licensure or registration in state; Lowe’s will support.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as department contact, provide project estimates, schedule installs, and track orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
