Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand their project needs, and guide them to the best home improvement solutions. You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales and exceed customer expectations.

You may work in Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and other departments. The role emphasizes proactive customer service, teamwork, and the chance to grow through bonus opportunities and

Qualifications

Minimum High School diploma or GED.
1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s if education not met).
1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and showcasing Lowe's products.
Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors in your department, handling estimates, scheduling installers, processing and tracking orders.
If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock merchandise.
Assist with pricing reviews and support all checkout functions and on-the-floor duties.
Train associates in the department and coach development needs.
Complete other duties as assigned.
