Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Texas to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a positive shopping experience. You’ll engage with shoppers throughout the day, assist with locating items, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service in a fast-paced home improvement store.

You’ll support various departments and may be cross-trained to assist in additional areas, contributing to a helpful, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and perform job duties
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with/without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare merchandise in department based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
