Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to help customers find the right home improvement solutions and close sales. The role involves active store presence, product expertise, and advising customers on features, financing, and promotions to meet project needs.

You will work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, delivering exceptional service while building knowledge of Lowe's products and programs. The position supports growth and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods; lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a department point of contact for customers and vendors; estimate projects and schedule installer visits.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers across departments.
• Train associates and coach on development needs on the sales floor.
