Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist in the United States to greet customers, understand their home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products and services.

You will become a product expert, explain features, promotions, and financing options to close sales, and deliver exceptional service on the sales floor. You will work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, helping customers plan projects while maintaining pricing standards and

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education requirement is not met)
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand their needs and communicate advantages of Lowe's products and services
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing project estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing and tracking customer orders/installations
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and order replacement stock
• Perform price reviews by pricing policies and ensure maintenance of pricing and documentation
• Support all checkout functions and requests for assistance
• Train associates in the department and coach on development needs
• Complete other duties as assigned
