Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist to engage customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing to close sales while delivering excellent service.

You may work in Departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, or Windows & Walls, and will train teammates to maintain high standards and drive store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external in sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating advantages of Lowe’s products.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within the department, creating estimates and coordinating installations.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train department associates on the Sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
