Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand their project needs, and help them select the right home improvement products. You will become the product expert, explain features, promotions, and financing options to close sales, while delivering exceptional consulting services to meet customer needs.

You will work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, or more, depending on hiring needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods; lift 25 lbs.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates and orders.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors for stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and department requests.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
