UnitedHealth Group's Unity Health HomeCare, part of the LHC Group family, is hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant in Arkansas. You will work under a supervising PT to implement the plan of care in a home health setting, delivering exercise instruction and patient education to support well-being.

This role requires a current Arkansas license, weekend availability, and reliable transportation. CPR certification is preferred, and the team emphasizes Caring. Connecting. Growing together.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of Arkansas.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state laws governing physical therapy in home care and follow the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient response to treatment and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and other health team members in therapy within the PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home environments with respect to all patients' backgrounds.
