Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for home health services. You will implement the plan of care under a supervising Physical Therapist and provide patient education, exercise instruction, and therapy to improve well-being in patients at home.

The role requires following state regulations, documenting progress, and coordinating with nurses and physicians to ensure quality care. Weekend rotation availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care as defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to supervising PT and care team.
