Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through its home health partner, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care in home settings. You will execute the established plan of care under a supervising Physical Therapist and educate patients and families on therapy activities.

Responsibilities include implementing exercises, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring safe patient handling. CPR is preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible to practice physical therapy as a PTA in the state of practice.
• Weekend rotation availability required.
• CPR certification preferred or able to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care under supervision of PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercises and gait training.
• Record patient responses and coordinate care with the health team.
