Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Arkansas is seeking a Full Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for home health. You will perform treatments, provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving well‑being under the supervision of a PT, and contribute to an individualized care plan.

This role requires AR licensure, CPR, a valid driver’s license, weekend rotation availability, and a commitment to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in Arkansas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Access to a dependable vehicle or reliable public transportation.
• Ability to function in any home setting and work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the plan of care defined by supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active/passive exercise, gait, ADL, and transfer techniques.
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate care with the health team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within scope of PTA.
