Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home care team. You will follow a supervising PT's plan of care, perform patient-centered exercises, gait training, and patient education to enhance well‑being and independence in daily activities.

You’ll work in a variety of home settings with diverse patient populations, require state licensure and CPR, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license/certification in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in home care settings with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws and the plan of care under supervision of PT.
• Instructs patients in exercise, gait, ADLs, and safety.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the PT, nurse, or physician.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within scope.
