Job summary

IGS Energy is seeking a Home Energy Consultant to provide expertise on energy products and help homeowners become smart energy consumers. This role requires generating business by selling natural gas and electricity within an assigned territory while using a consultative approach.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, motivation to succeed, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Benefits include medical coverage, 401(k) with company match, and uncapped sales commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Must work outdoors daily with exposure to inclement weather.
• Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs required.

Responsibilities

• Generate business by selling natural gas, electricity, and utility line protection.
• Use a consultative selling approach to increase customer awareness.
• Provide pricing information and effectively close sales.
• Assure quality representation of products and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep detailed records of sales activity via CRM technology.
