Fresenius Medical Care in Kansas is seeking an entry-level Home Therapies RN to join the Clinical Advancement Program, providing training and coordination for home dialysis patients. You will educate patients and families, collect and monitor dialysis data, and collaborate with physicians to adjust treatment plans.

The role involves supervising staff in the Home Therapies team, on-call rotations, and travel to home sites as needed.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, coordinates and documents patient education for home dialysis training.
• Monitors patient response to home dialysis and adjusts plans per physician orders.
• Trains patients and home partners on safe operation of dialysis equipment.
• Delivers education to patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Supervises and mentors LPNs/LVNs, RNs and patient care staff as assigned.
• Participates in on-call rotation and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

Current or successful CPR BLS Certification
