Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Home Therapies RN CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, following approved protocols and collaborating with the physician and interdisciplinary team.

You will train patients and home partners on home dialysis equipment, assess learning needs, document outcomes, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience.
• Minimum of 1-year RN experience preferred.
• Home dialysis therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients following protocols.
• Assess and document patient responses to home dialysis training and treatment.
• Educate patients and families on home dialysis procedures and care.
• Administer medications per approved algorithms and document effectiveness.
• Lead and contribute to staff training and orientation as assigned.
