Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a qualified RN to train and oversee home dialysis therapies, ensuring safe, effective patient care within our Home Therapies program. You will educate patients and families, assess home environments for suitability, and coordinate with physicians to address treatment needs.

This role primarily works in the clinic setting and may involve initial home visits. Requirements include a nursing license, 1+ year medical-surgical nursing experience (dialysis experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN) and current state licensure.
• Minimum of one year medical-surgical nursing experience; dialysis experience preferred.
• Successfully complete a training course in dialysis therapies.
• CPR certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and oversight of home dialysis therapies for patients.
• Rotate with licensed staff to ensure coverage and participate in staff meetings.
• Educate patients and families on ESRD and home dialysis care.
• Coordinate with physicians and CQI teams to monitor quality improvement.
